I’ve been loving the upgrade to iPhone software 2.0 so far (much more to come), but I’ve found my first App Store stinker: WeatherBug. On the surface, it’s fantastic and it provides much more detailed weather reports than the iPhone’s own Weather app (current temp with wind speed & direction, live local weather camera feeds, integrated radar maps) but it just keeps crashing my iPhone. In 2 days of use, it lagged/dragged too often to count and fully crashed forcing the iPhone to restart twice.
That’s just too buggy for my blood — it’s back to a trusty Weather.com MobileSafari web app for me. Tomorrow I promise something more positive about iPhone Apps.
